You’ve seen plenty of factory photos. But do you know what actually matters?
Here’s what we recommend every B2B buyer look for when a supplier shares production line images:
1
Fixtures & tooling, not just people
➤ A serious line has custom jigs for bearing pressing, gear alignment, and motor coupling.
Why it matters: Without fixtures, consistency depends on the worker’s “feel” – and your batch quality becomes a lottery.
2
In-line testing stations, not a final “inspection corner”
➤ Look for Hi-Pot testers, runout gauges, or balance machines integrated into the flow.
Why it matters: Testing at the end catches problems. Testing at each step prevents them.
3
Clean and organized material flow
➤ Semi-finished rotors, stators, and housings should be separated – not piled together.
Why it matters: Mixed parts lead to assembly errors. Good layout = good process discipline.
4
Documentation within reach
➤ Process sheets, torque specs, or QC checklists visible at each station?
Why it matters: If it’s not written down, it’s not repeatable. Repeatability is what you pay for.
